However, earlier in the movie, one prison guard officer introduces Mui as the Master/Owner of the prison, clearly establishing him as the guy in charge. Maroi, Naruto’s kidnapper, after learning of Naruto’s failed escape attempt says that so long as Naruto is in solitary confinement, they can’t reach him, and says there may be an agent working against them amongst the jailers. For the most part, Naruto does retire in his cell each night, so there’s no reason for Mui not to try taking him again.Īpparently, Naruto is untouchable while in solitary confinement For example, he could have the kidnapper check if it's a clone beforehand or station extra guards outside Naruto’s cell in case he tries to escape.

While this attempt to take him from his cell failed, it’s very easy to make future attempts work. Mui comments that it's impressive that he could make a clone at all. Since he placed the Heavenly Prison seal on Naruto, which hurts him whenever he molds chakra, there’s very little Naruto can do to stop himself from being captured. However, this is the ONLY time Mui thinks of doing this. Now, since it’s a clone, it can’t power the box so Mui’s plan to open it is temporarily foiled. I will mention details that happen before this later in this post.

#Mui naruto blood prison movie
The earliest thing I wanted to directly comment on in the movie is when Maroi kidnaps Naruto (actually a clone) for Mui, the Prison’s warden, so that he can extract Naruto’s chakra to open the Box of Paradise.

I recently watched the Blood Prison movie and wanted to do a breakdown of the very questionable decisions the characters make.
